Travel Eden looks to Avail Intelligence to create website paradise

Online holiday accommodation site, Travel Eden (www.traveleden.com), is using technology from Avail Intelligence to provide a smart search facility for holidaymakers looking for self-catering accommodation or bed and breakfasts.

Newly launched Travel Eden, a holiday rental accommodation portal plans to use community intelligence technology from e-commerce expert Avail to help holidaymakers find the right type of accommodation to suit their individual needs.

The Social Search Optimizer module from Avail’s G8 eMarketing suite makes use of the collective wisdom based on those searches that actually appear to have aroused a customer’s interest and led to a purchase previously.

The website also provides holidaymakers with in-depth regional guides, travel news and holiday tips, which is governed by a rating system that will see more popular suggestions listed first. With more and more customers booking trips based on other holidaymakers’ recommendations, the site will also incorporate user reviews and recommendations. Later this year Travel Eden plans to introduce a booking management system for owners in addition to other exciting developments for both owners and holidaymakers.
